The Young family retained three handwriting experts to examine the mortgage assignment recorded in July 2023. Their reports — and the disputed document they examined — are presented here in full. The significance of their findings is explained below in plain English.
An Important Distinction
Expert evidence of possible forgery means a qualified examiner, applying documented methodology, identified characteristics consistent with a signature or document that may not be authentic. It is an expert opinion, not a legal conclusion.
An allegation of forgery is a party's assertion that a document is forged. An allegation must be proven; it is not established merely because it is made.
A judicial finding of forgery is a court's formal ruling, after considering the evidence, that a document is forged. No such finding is represented on this site unless the actual court record supports it.
The three expert reports will be published here in full once uploaded and verified. Expert names, credentials, and findings will appear exactly as stated in each report — nothing is invented or summarized beyond the report's own language.
